We are excited to still offer the Columbus Farmer’s Market® Saturdays from June 6th – September 19th behind City Hall.
Ultimately, the safety of our community is our biggest priority. In order to offer the market in a safe way, until further notice, the market will be markedly different. We still strongly feel that with these changes in place, we are able to offer the fresh local produce and market products that are community needs in a safe manor.
If individuals feel ill, or simply do not feel comfortable attending the market, we encourage them to stay at home and check out Market Connection, a tab on our website featuring vendors who have elected to provide contact info for their business to the public. We have developed a plan to phase in the market as our community continues in the reopening process. However, for the time being, we are limiting many social aspects of the market. Until further notice, the following will be unavailable/not allowed – no public restrooms, no pets, we will not have bands, no entertainment shows or demos, no public seating, on site food and drink preparations are limited to take out orders only, etc. We are limiting the number of vendors, and increasing the space in between each booth. All city market employees are required to wear masks and all other market participants are strongly encouraged to do the same. Prominent signage will be posted around the market to promote social distancing and other hygiene practices. Vendors are required to have a sanitation or wash station in their booths to use between transactions.
Thank you for your continued support of the Columbus Farmer’s Market®.
